For the sporty guests we have an asphalt curling lane next to our guest house. **Game plaque from the Upper Austrian Hunting Association for the Knappenbauerwirt inn in Pettenbach im Almtal** During a ceremony in the Gasthaus Knappenbauernwirt in Pettenbach, master hunter Sepp Brandmayr and his deputy, district hunter Herbert Sieghartsleitner, presented host Hans Hofer with the Upper Austrian venison plaque. State Hunting Association presented. This plaque is an award for a real "hunter's inn". At the Knappenbauernwirt you meet for the hunters' regulars table, there is a game collection point and an annual weapons exchange. "My chef Hans Lang guarantees the best game dishes made from regional venison," said host Hans Hofer and Ilse, delighted with the award. "The Knappenbauernwirt is a hunting hub and is known far beyond the Almtal. People like to stop here," emphasized Sepp Brandmayr. The ceremony was framed by the Kremstal hunting horn group.
