For the journey from Wels we recommend the OÖ. Freizeitticket for € 19.90 (for 2 people, return journey) **Return journey:** As the last return journey with the Almtalbahn leaves for Wels at 20:16, we recommend travelling from Wels at 16:50 in order to have enough time for dinner. If you wish to arrive later, we recommend travelling to Grünau im Almtal by train at 21:45 and staying overnight at the Romantikhotel Almtalhof (near the train station), for example. You can also find more information about accommodation at [www.traunsee-almtal.at](http://www.traunsee-almtal.at) **by bus:** OÖVV bus route 533 Gmunden - Scharntein - Grünau im Almtal; bus stop Scharntein town centre, approx. 15-17 minutes on foot to the restaurant. The same offers apply for the return journey as for the train journey! Arrival with the **Salzkammerut Shuttle Service Route 52** from Laakirchen to the Scharnstein-Mühldorf train station stop or from Vorchdorf with the **Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 70** to the Almbrücke stop, please call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on 050-422 422 or order on the otaxi app. Return journey possible until 20:00, thereafter possible with one of the taxi providers in the region or use the offer of overnight accommodation in the region! **By car:** West motorway A1: Vienna - Voralpenkreuz-A9 or Inntal motorway A8 Passau - Wels - Voralpenkreuz A9 - exit Ried/Tr. - continue via Voitsdorf - Pettenbach - Scharnstein - junction Almbrücke or Westautobahn A1: Munich - Salzburg - Regau - Gmunden - Scharnstein - Scharnstein - Almbrücke junction - **car park** at the restaurant or car park 1 for Scharnstein ruins 100 metres away Please only use the designated parking spaces in front of the restaurant or the larger car park 100 metres away and show consideration for private property!
