In all three cases, change to the A9 Pyhrn motorway at the Knoten Voralpenkreuz junction and follow this until the St. Pankraz exit. Follow the B138 road for one kilometre and turn left at the signs onto the Stodertaler Landstraße L552 and follow this road to Hinterstoder. On arrival in the village, turn left at the second opportunity onto the toll road and after 10 kilometres you will have reached your destination. Alternatively, you can also use the Hössbahn cable car for the ascent during the day. (Please note the operating times!) **Travel by train and bus** No matter where you are travelling from by train, the nearest major train station is in Linz, Upper Austria. From there, you can get directly to Hinterstoder train station in just over an hour. At the station, take the bus (line 201) and get to Hinterstoder village centre, 11 kilometres away.
