St Hildegard von Bingen (1098 - 1179) made important contributions to our understanding of life, nature, the environment and spiritual healing. **An insight into the history**- **1890** - Carl Mayrhofer founds the Mariendrogerie in Rieder Bahnhofstraße - **1928 -** His son Johann Mayrhofer takes over the drugstore along with the ancient knowledge - **1953 -** Max Neuhofer begins his apprenticeship with Johann Mayrhofer - **1959** - Max Neuhofer takes over the Rieder Mariendrogerie and moulds it into "Kräuter Max" - **1999 -** Christoph Zauner, grandson of Max Neuhofer, takes up work in the family business - **2005 -** Christoph Zauner successfully continues the Kräuter Max business Today, we combine old traditional herbal knowledge with modern and researched knowledge in order to offer the best benefits for our customers. Not only the traditional, but also product innovations with new active ingredients and herbs and plants for the prevention of new challenges such as burnout, exhaustion, stress and much more are part of the performance environment. Christoph Zauner is the current developer of the formulas; he draws on the knowledge of old generations, combines it with new, researched methods and adapts it to the needs and requirements of our time. And because the company develops its own products, its employees know their way around. They take the time to offer advice and are available to answer questions about the application, dosage and mode of action. **For the sake of the environment, there is no unnecessary duplicate packaging and all packaging is disposed of at the Austrian ARA (Altstoff-Recycling-Austria).
