In the village of Wienau, near the Hoisnhaus, you will find the unique granite stone chapel, which has already caused quite a stir among experts. The village chapel, built using the stone block construction method, consists exclusively of granite stones worked by farmers. Even the roof construction is made entirely of granite stone. Valuable and highly symbolic folkloristic motifs are carved into the pillars and door walls. In the interior, six granite heads, representing the twelve apostles, protrude from the wall at the front and back. The head of Judas is made of dark stone, in the altar niche stands a carved statue of the Virgin Mary, above which hangs a crucifix.
