The late-Gothic church was built at the beginning of the 16th century on late-Romanesque foundation walls. In the 17th century, it was remodeled in the Baroque style. The tower also dates from the 17th century and was rebuilt in the 19th century after being struck by lightning.The four-bay nave originally had three aisles. However, the southern aisle is walled off at the lower level but opens onto an oratory gallery on the upper level. The choir is also four-bay and raised by two steps. The Baroque-style vaults feature rich stucco decorations by Matthias Salleitner and Josef Schmidt. The frescoes depicting scenes from the life of St. Pancras were painted by Christoph Lehrl. The Rosary Chapel is enclosed by a highly decorative wrought-iron grille featuring angel figures. It was crafted by an anonymous master from the Innviertel region at the end of the 17th century. Above the Rosary Chapel is the former Gothic convent choir with a beautiful net-ribbed vault. On the side walls, we see valuable tombstones commemorating famous provosts of the monastery.The Baroque high altar, made of marbled wood and featuring exquisite statues, is the work of Sebastian Högenauer.
