It is dedicated to St Quirinus of Neuss and features Romanesque, Gothic, Baroque and modern style elements. In the 1950s, the high altar from the circle of the Baroque master Meinrad Guggenbichler was acquired for the parish church. Mentioned in documents in 1150, Pierbach was elevated to a parish in 1372. The patronage of the parish has been exercised by the respective owner of the Ruttenstein estate since 1688. The church is a Romanesque/Gothic 3-nave stepped church with a Gothic chancel, church tower and late Gothic side aisles. Inside there are wall paintings from the 16th century. The high altar (crucifixion group) was created by Meinrad Guggenbichler. The baroque side altars date from 1680, the pulpit from the 17th/18th century. The organ is the work of Herbert Gollini from 1971 (2 manuals, 10 stops). Various individual figures in the church date from the Gothic period (around 1500) or from the 17th century (Zürn circle) The Pierbach parish church is located on the Mühlviertel Gothic Route.
