When you follow the trail your will learn about tree growth and the function of the forest. After you have passed the pond you will come to an information point about plants, mushrooms and trees. From here the trail leads to Nikolaus’s chapel, which is well worth seeing, and it goes on past a fenced-off ant hill and display board before leading back to the "Wirt im Hallerwald".
