It is thus one of the most valuable baroque churches in Austria. The architect is not known, but the Linz master builder J.M. Pruner was involved in the construction. The church has a single-nave barrel-vaulted nave with four bays and three shallow niches on each side. The altarpiece is by Carlo Carlone, Martin Altomonte, J.A. Wolf and Carl von Resfeld. However, the Carmelite Church is not only a valuable cultural monument. Above all, it is a place of reflection, a place to come to rest, a place of prayer and a place of worship.
