In this spirit, two cross-Danube hiking trails were opened in May 2010 to mark the 100th anniversary of the artist's birth. The Fritz Fröhlich-WEg is a circular route from Wilhering Abbey with the Fröhlich collection and the artist's Wilhering studio to Fröhlich's final resting place at Ottensheim cemetery and back to Wilhering.
