Fishing in Steyr

ATTENTION: Due to considerable damage caused by the otter, no fishing licenses will be issued in 2021!
The Steyr rises in Hinterstoder and has excellent water quality and their tributaries. They can be described as good salmonid (trout).
The scenic beauty amidst the panorama of mountains, let the dead stay in this water will be an unforgettable experience. Permitted removal per fish day: 2 pcs salmon (at least 30 cm). Cards are currently only available for the upper reaches of Steyr - Upper trout region - available.
The recreational fisheries in the Steyr is not possible at the moment
The fishable range of Steyr is from the bridge to the bridge at the Dietlgut Johannishof (4 km) in the municipality of Hinterstoder!

Day ticket: € 45.00
For the recreational fisheries in Upper Austria a valid fishing license (photo-ID) is required. Official Fishing cards from other states or countries are recognized. Every angler must be in possession of Linzenzbuches, which is new for each calendar year. The license book is available at all license issuing offices at the price of € 15,00.
Fishing in Upper Austria is exercised in accordance with local government regulations, changes or any restrictions remain the cultivators of the individual waters reserved.
