The Story is now 91 years old, but still interesting. The theater had always had an old tradition in Mondsee. Originally the monks staged spiritual pieces mainly for Christmas and Easter. Already in the 19th century, the first playgroups were founded, which were performed by Ludwig Anzengruber and Ludweg Thoma.
