Artists from the capital cities have retreated there. Artists tell of this harmonious lake landscape in their art. In spring 2019, people interested in culture from four lakes - Mattsee, Wallersee, Mondsee and Wolfgangsee - came together to pool their activities: "Vier-Seen-Kultur" was founded!
