At the couple's farm, which has its own **organic distillery**, you can experience enjoyment in many different ways. Whether it's a tasting in the **Schnapsrast Pavilion**, where the Johannesweg, Silberbergerweg, Tour de Alm and the Mühlviertel bridle path network pass by, or shopping in the **farm shop**, where you can sample the organic distillates and the fine organic bacon from the Kaltenberg whisky pig - the love and enthusiasm with which the products are made is palpable. The nature at the organic farm, which is nestled in the beautiful hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel, is also an experience. On an independent tour of the farm, you can visit the **Kaltenberg whisky pigs**, who live here - you could say - in paradise: The animals have a large meadow, their own wallow for bathing and plenty of straw in the barn. There is a special bench under the birch tree for visitors to watch the pigs from. Those who simply want to rest their legs can do so in the **fruit show garden** . A Hollywood swing invites you to rest and relax from spring to autumn. But the garden has much more to offer: 73 fruit trees (apples, pears, plums, cherries and nuts). Each tree is a different variety and that is what makes the garden so interesting. The signs next to the individual trees provide information about the origin, use, harvest and ripeness. At the Thauerböck organic farm, an old craft can also be revived: **pitch oil distilling**. On the farm tour, you can visit a pitch oil stone and a display board provides an insight into the production of the tried and tested healing pitch oil. It is also available in the farm shop.
