Freinberg Minigolf
Linz, Oberösterreich, Österreich
Minigolf has been played on the Freinberg in Linz for over 50 years.
Mini golf is for anyone who wants to experience something big in a small way and is up for any kind of fun.
The most important rule: the fewer strokes, the better, after attempts per hole a 7 is written.
Minigolf developed from the traditional game of golf. The first documented course was built for women in England in 1912, as women were often socially barred from playing on regular golf courses. In the 1920s, so-called "Tom Thumb Golf" courses were built in the USA, which popularized the game as a leisure activity.
