The over 1000-year-old town of Steyr, situated at the picturesque confluence of the Enns and Steyr rivers, is a true architectural jewel. On the historic town square, town houses from different stylistic eras line up harmoniously. The city experiences combine tradition with lifestyle and make Steyr a city of encounters: From the highest tower to the deepest cellar Join the Steyr night watchmen on a journey back in time and listen to their stories and anecdotes! Floating Steyr The leap from the Middle Ages into the high-tech age is effortless in Steyr with the silent hovering on the Segways, the ultimate cult scooters! An Eldorado for nature lovers In just 30 minutes by car you can reach the Ennstal Visitor Centre, the ideal starting point for all tours in the Kalkalpen National Park. During Advent, Steyr is transformed into Austria's official Christkindlstadt. The post office and the pilgrimage church in Christkindl, the Steyrer Kripperl or the Christmas museum with adventure train are just some of the pre-Christmas attractions.
