Already after a short, leisurely and above all also family-friendly hike, one reaches the "Place of Security". There, lanterns have been placed in memory of loved ones, which are supposed to give comfort and security at this special place of strength. And of course you can also enjoy a great view of Lake Attersee from there. The path leads from the parking lot of the Schönauer Seebad along the Weyregger Straße in the direction of the riding stable Schloss Kammer. Across from the riding stable, you finally turn right on Karl-Hausjell-Allee via "Rittmeister Wiese" to the Waldvilla. From here you follow the well-built high trail to Seeberg/Kammer. On the way you can enjoy wonderful views over the lake Attersee again and again. At the end of the high trail, the hike continues to the left and the ascent to the Häfelberg begins. At the summit of the Häfelberg you will find the above-mentioned place of happiness "Platz der Geborgenheit". Since there are no refreshment stops along the way, it is advisable to take drinks and a snack with you. The same path leads back to the starting point. An alternative would be to return along the Marktholzweg to Marktwaldstraße.
