The start begins in Weißenbach at the Unteraubrücke bridge, first along the road towards Laimeralm, then right onto the Theresienstein, continue via Schärfer Schwand, cross the road, then continue along the path. Cross the Moosgassneralm forest road several times until you reach the Fahrenbergstraße, cross it and hike to the Rotwand Sattel.
