With 2 different routes, it offers the opportunity to explore the scenic surroundings of Taufkirchen. This hiking trail is suitable for all age groups. There is also a shortened version of route 1! Hiking trail description Route 1: From the community centre, walk in the direction of Taufkirchen to the "Kirchenwirt" inn. From here, the path leads northwards along an avenue of fruit trees uphill to the Eichberg. On the hill of the Eichberg, the trail heads west past a clearing to the Kornfeldner Kreuz. The path continues along the ridge of the Eichberg to the Winklinger Kreuz. Here you can enjoy the marvellous view of Haag/Hausruck and the Salzkammergut. The path leads along the edge of the forest and then back into the forest. After a short time, you come out at a birch avenue. After the avenue at the Wassermair cross, you come to a crossroads - left to Hehenberg via the Wassermair inn and church - the path leads straight on via the Jetzinger inn into the village of Hehenberg. Continue along the Hirschgatter to Eichberg. Before entering the forest again, turn right eastwards towards Taufkirchen. Cross the road at the former waste recycling plant and walk across the Rosenheide to the old oak tree. The path continues in the direction of Adrischendorf and you finally arrive back in the village of Taufkirchen.
