[**Free rental of Nordic Walking poles at the Tourist Information Bad Schallerbach.**](https://www.vitalwelt.at/en/discover-the-region/sport-and-leisure/nordic-walking.html) Starting from the village center (municipal office) past the new [Catholic parish church](https://www.vitalwelt.at/en/oesterreich-poi/detail/401234/katholische-pfarrkirche.html) with architecture worth seeing and the unique Stations of the Cross, walk along the so-called Pfarrergraben slightly uphill via Vöglthen to the wayside cross at the turnoff to Pühret - straight ahead you can take the Kurorteweg No. 40. Keep left. In Kochlöffeleck turn left. Slightly descending the path leads into the forest. After about 20m take the right, narrower hollow way. Shortly cross a meadow, then turn left down to Niederndorf where you pass a sawmill. Always straight ahead, cross the road and the bypass. Hike the somewhat steep uphill trail to the edge of the forest. Once you reach the top - you can also walk straight along Alpenblickweg No. 47 - walk straight into the forest. Through the forest you then go out to the left, past the houses in Vornwald to the road leading towards St. Georgen. Cross this road and walk along a meadow path to the former snack station Ditschenberg. Continue to the right to the [Tirolerhof](https://www.vitalwelt.at/en/oesterreich-gastronomie/detail/100190/gasthof-tirolerhof.html). Turn right in front of the guest house. After a few meters, take the first path to the left. Up there you have a wonderful view again. Cross the road and walk through the forest to the Neue Welt. Hike down the road in Neue Welt to the village of Wies. Cross the main road and go left along the hiking trail to the Gallspach village entrance. Continue on the sidewalk into the village, past the Hiegelsberger Inn (IVV checkpoint). At the Schützenhof turn right, cross the bridge and turn left into the [nature experience park](https://www.vitalwelt.at/en/oesterreich-poi/detail/430024573/naturerlebnispark.html). In the [nature experience park](https://www.vitalwelt.at/en/oesterreich-poi/detail/430024573/naturerlebnispark.html) you can escape the hectic of everyday life and let your soul dangle in the midst of meadows and trees. With its diverse offers and interesting facts about nature, the park is an attraction in the heart of our village. Our bee colonies are active in the bee house and offer insight into their fascinating life as honey producers through a display flap. Display boards explain the life of the bees. In order to preserve old and regional varieties, you will find various fruits in our snack garden, which you can taste here in nature on site. The paths of the nature experience park are oases of peace and of course accessible barrier-free all around. Linger by the ponds or in the midst of our flower meadows, watch our ornamental birds at the bird aviary or pick some berries and fruits directly in the snack garden. In winter, for fun in the snow, the toboggan slope is available for entertaining young and old. Cross the nature adventure park and go right up Geymannstraße. At the road you have to go left and you are back at the starting point.
