Turn left down to the youth hostel, left past the jazz studio, cross the main road. Next to the Neuburger company (**never say Leberkäse to him!**), continue along a field path, with a short asphalt section in between, to the Lichtenberg mill (house with painted sundial), continue right to the so-called... **2.4 km Stampfbuche.** (*The power of water was used to pound the grain. Two mills used to stand here in the immediate vicinity and gave the beech its name.*) Here, a bench with a beautiful view of Ulrichsberg invites you to linger. Continue uphill on forest paths and tracks to the... **5.7 km junction on the left into the tarmac road**. Then you reach the... **6.0 km** **Böhmerwaldarena** in **Schöneben**. Follow the signposts uphill towards the forest. Here you can. The forest road leads you directly through the forest to the... **7.6 km Moldaublick observation tower** 1041 m - *24 m high oil drilling tower from Gänserndorf, which was built in 1968 by the municipality of Ulrichsberg*.
