Ried Circular Walk / winterwalk

A mostly level walk with a splendid view of lake and mountains to the south.

From the Market square take the road leading westwards from the village and after the tunnel entrance (on your right) go right to the fork in the road alon "Sternallee". Continue on this road, crossing a small stream and past the Hotel Försterhof. Soon the road ascens slightly and, for approx. 1,5 miles, theres is a splendid view of the lake and mountains. Eventually this road descends to a crossing near the Leopoldhof. Turning left you follow the lakeshore Road - past the Protestant Church - back to the Marktplatz in front of the Parisch Church.
