Travelling on the MTB trail network in the Kalkalpen National Park is at your own risk and responsibility. The Kalkalpen - Langfirst tour is one of the classics of mountain bike trails in the region Pyhrn-Priel. However, the beautiful bike tour requires some condition. Windischgarsten - Salzatal - Wurbauerkogel - steep gravel road to Haslersgatter - on the Langfirst road to the Hanslalm / Dörflmoaralm - descent via Kreuzau to the Zickerreith - a few meters to the Hengstpaßhütte National Park information point - cross the Hengstpass road here - in the direction of Egglalm - leave the alpine pasture and then follow the left-hand gravel road - approx. 800 m and short descent (single trail / sliding route!), junction forest path - direction Lamberger Teich - then follow the asphalt road to the Hengstpass-Landesstraße, return to Rosenau am Hengstpaß and Windischgarsten.
