The comparatively short stage of the Benedikt-Path leads into the Traun river basin and connects the neighboring monasteries of Steinerkirchen and Lambach.
There is therefore plenty of opportunity to be spiritually inspired by the monasteries and churches, to find deceleration in prayer and rest, but also to enjoy the surrounding natural treasures, such as river meadows, and art, or even a detour to the stallion breeding station in Stadl - to make paura.
This is another stage of the Benedict Trail, which leads from monastery to monastery: here from the Benedictine monastery in Steinerkirchen an der Traun to the Benedictine monastery in Lambach. The pilgrimage stage is a very contemplative one, overcomes only small hills and leads mainly through stream and river landscapes, which are, however, very populated and therefore crossed by all kinds of traffic routes. The stage destination, the mighty Lambach Monastery, built on a hill above the Traun, rises over large parts of the route.
