We start at the Wanderstein and walk northwards along the Frauenteich pond. Via Schmiedgasse and Vierzehnerstraße we reach the highest point of the tour, the so-called Knödelhütte (dumplings are available in the town's restaurants). After a few impressions, we descend into the Thurytal valley to the forge hammer with the water wheel and walk along the Feldaist river back towards the town centre. We marvel at the mighty towers and leave the city centre through the Linzertor gate. The route continues via Zemannstraße and Stifterplatz (hotel) back to the Wanderstein.
