Waldreich Trail

The Waldreich Trail around the Kranzberg is the first signposted running route in St. Georgen am Walde.

This trail is approx. 12 km long and 450 m high and not only leads through the beautiful forests of the Mühlviertel, but also to one or two viewpoints which invite you to take a short breather.

Just imagine: You walk along narrow paths through dense forests, over soft forest floors, past moss-covered rocks and rushing streams.

The fresh, clear air fills your lungs as you harmonize the rhythm of your steps with the pulse of nature. The twittering of birds and the soft crackling of twigs under your feet accompany you every meter of the way.

Our trail run takes you through a varied landscape: gentle climbs challenge your stamina - all embedded in a spectacular natural landscape that invigorates body and mind in equal measure. Every kilometer brings new views, be it of a hidden valley, a wild and romantic clearing or a majestic peak.
