Welcome to the house Schmiedsippl - farm Holidays!

Holiday in the holiday flat Schmiedsippl

Our holiday flat offers space for 4-9 people. The flat is equipped with a living room with pull-out couch, a new kitchen, a double room, a bathroom with shower.

We have a farm and you are welcome to taste our farm products (milk, cheese, eggs, butter and cream). Interested children are allowed to come into the barn in the evening!

In summer, our location makes us a perfect starting point for hikes and mountain bike tours. We are happy to invite you on a ride to our alpine pasture and on the way to the hut you will get a tasty snack from us.

If you wish, we can take our house guests by car to the Plankensteinalm with many hiking possibilities. (Schleifstein quarries, Löckersee, crossing to Hallstatt).

In winter, the Dachstein West ski area is only a few minutes' walk away. The entrance to the cross-country skiing trails is right by the house. If you are looking for something a little quieter, you can go tobogganing in the rear Gosau valley or enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride through the Gosau valley.

The comortable farm is situated in the middle Gosau valley. The Skilift is reachable by foot and also the cross-county ski trails are directly at the house.

Accessibility / arrival

By car
from Salzburg:
Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Russbach, Gosau.
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt crossing turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km turn left after the Ze-Cafe, drive over the small bridge and then immediately turn left again. Drive to the end and you will reach the Schmiedsippl holiday flat.

from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: drive straight ahead at the Pass Gschütt crossing onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 2 km turn left after the Ze-Cafe, drive over the small bridge and then immediately turn left again. Drive to the end and you will reach the Schmiedsippl holiday flat.

By bus (irregularly on Sundays):
From Bad Ischl: Bus direction Gosausee (Lake Gosau), get off at the bus stop "Mittertal b. Gosau Ort" and turn left after the Ze-Cafe. After the small bridge, turn left immediately and walk to the end of the road, then you will reach the holiday flat.

From Rußbach: Take the bus in the direction of Gosau, at the terminus "Gosau Abzweigung Pass Gschütt" change to the bus in the direction of Gosausee (Lake Gosau), get off at the stop "Mittertal b. Gosau Ort" and turn left after the Ze-Cafe. After the small bridge, turn left immediately and walk to the end of the road, then you will reach the holiday flat.
