Look forward to authentic “handmade” goods from the Imperial City, typical culinary delights, and an **atmospheric and varied program of events**. **November 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. – Grand Opening of the “ ” Christmas Market and “Schmankerldorf” in front of the Trinkhalle** Far beyond the borders of the Salzkammergut, Ischl’s artisans are renowned for their mastery **in combining beauty with practicality**. That is precisely what is meant by “artisan craftsmanship” in Ischl. An art that is cultivated here in its most beautiful form and presented during Advent in the pre-Christmas atmosphere of the elegantly decorated Trinkhalle. However, when Ischl’s artisans say “present,” they mean much more than simply displaying their works. What **awaits** you at **the Christmas market** is, rather, **a sensory experience** that engages all the senses: sight, smell, taste, and hearing.
