This year's Master's Summer is themed "FLORAL Genial" to be brilliant in summer at the Hand.Werk.Haus
and you have the opportunity to get in touch with craft, own craft try and make workpieces.

FLORAL Ingenious
Ornamental and decorative elements in the craft trade
Saturday 25 July to Saturday 17 October during opening hours
Opening Friday, July 24, 7 pm
This year's special exhibition entitled FLORAL Genial is dedicated to decorative and ornamental elements in the craft trades and seeks interdisciplinary interfaces.
Whether in simple everyday and folk culture or in high culture, patterns and ornaments, whose source of inspiration has always been nature, accompany us across virtually all cultural epochs.
It is striking that despite reduction and architectural clarity, the human longing for jewellery and ornament remains in all areas of life: We encounter this longing in traditional costumes and festivals, in building and living, in tableware, in short, in everything that enriches and decorates our everyday lives.
FLORAL Genial shows scenarios, special craft exhibits, loans from the Haslach Textile Centre and exciting interfaces with contemporary art, architecture and plant sociology.
