Heartfelt original compositions and plenty of poetry, combined with wit and emotion, transport audiences into the world of this enchanting fairy tale—a live experience for the whole family! Known for its imaginative musicals, Theater Liberi presents this French folk tale in a contemporary and entertaining adaptation. A highly trained ensemble captivates the audience with diverse choreography set to romantic ballads and pop songs with hit potential. A fairy-tale setting comes to life on stage: the transformable set shifts between Belle’s home and the enchanted castle, which sparkles just as brilliantly as the dreamlike costumes.For centuries, people have been telling the tale of Beauty and the Beast and the power of their love, which is so strong that it can even break a curse. A curse that transformed the prince into a fearsome beast. One day, when a poor merchant strays into the castle garden and picks a rose, the Beast demands a high price in return. From then on, the merchant’s youngest daughter, Belle, must live in the enchanted castle. Belle’s initial fear, however, quickly gives way to curiosity when she realizes that behind the Beast’s hard exterior lies a soft heart—and that she can even laugh and dance with him. But Belle is torn, for she has many questions: What is the story behind the mysterious prince in the mirror? And why are there these enchanted creatures in the castle?
