The Törlwand via ferrata, also called "Mein Land - Dein Land Klettersteig", is a varied, short via ferrata with an impressive gorge start, airy single-rope bridge, ladder and beautiful slab traverse.

Climb with panoramic view

The entrance leads through a gap in the rock wall, after a few meters, the fuses begin. It's quite interesting in the mountain inside, you spread over the gap and comes to a rope bridge. Next you get to an aluminum ladder and comes to beautiful plates with interesting rock warts. Then you climb for a long time on plates that are free us very nice to climb and then comes after a last steep stretch to the exit.
To the left along the climbing tracks you reach in a few minutes through the forest just next to the wall crashes the Obermoossteig and continue on the marked climb the summit of the Predigstuhls (last wire safety). Despite the small height you have a pretty beautiful view.

In case of emergency call the mountain rescue under 140!

Details - climbing mount
  • difficulty acc. to Kurt Schall: medium difficulty (B)
  • Hop off description: Past the parking lot Predigstuhl you hike northeast on the forest road in the direction of Hütteneckalm (sign Predigtstuhl/Hütteneck). Shortly before an open meadow, the Obermoossteig trail branches off to the left to the Predigstuhl (sign: Predigtstuhl, about 15 minutes from the parking lot). Steeply up through the forest, past the turnoff to the "Leadership-Klettersteig" (sign: Klettersteig) and up for a few more minutes until you reach the first rocks. Here, in a left turn of the via ferrata at a large fallen tree, on a still somewhat faintly marked path horizontally, then slightly descending along the walls to the entrance of the via ferrata at a prominent rock crevice (sign). The via ferrata tree visible shortly before may not be used by private via ferrata climbers! Another access option is to walk along the forest road until you reach the Törl and turn left at the big bend. Through the forest on the tracks and without loss of height in a short time to the entrance.
  • Hop on description: Only a short distance back along the ascent path to a fork. Keep left on the Radsteig into a wooded saddle between Predigstuhl and Ewiger Wand. Steeply downhill (wire ropes, carved out steps), then in hairpin bends with beautiful views of the rock faces of the Ewige Wand down into the forest. Go through the forest until you reach a forest road. Take the path to the left, following the signs past a fountain, back to the starting point. The descent can also be done via the Obermoossteig, a little faster and shorter.
  • duration Descent: 1 h

The via ferrata is accessible from May to October, depending on snow and weather conditions.
