We hike along meadows and through species-rich forests to the Heiligenstein. This historically significant elevation between Weyer and Gaflenz is home to the popular pilgrimage church of St. Sebaldus with an adjoining snack station.

The path to the 782m high Heiligenstein is lined with flowers and wild herbs. With the knowledge of the herb educator, we look at the colorful flowers and juicy leaves from both a culinary and medicinal point of view: nettles can be used to make tasty lemonade, spruce needles help against coughs and dandelion can be used as a coffee substitute.
This herb hike is not just about gathering knowledge, but also about picking herbs and taking them home. The treasures collected can be used to refine curd cheese, sheep's cheese and bread at the Heiligenstein snack station.
