The lush pastures around the Schüttbauernalm in the Kalkalpen National Park invite you to linger and marvel: The greenery is good for our souls, the sight of the grazing cattle takes us back to times gone by and the fragrant wild herbs are a remedy and nourishment for our bodies.

The herbalist accompanying us on the hike will show us which of the plants have special properties and can be used for culinary or medicinal purposes. With her, we not only explore some of the secrets of the alpine vegetation, but also collect wild herbs for a subsequent tasting at the wild alpine menu at the Schüttbauernalm.

Attention! The Schüttbauernalm can only be reached by minibus or on foot via the hiking trail from the Viehtaleralm (6km). Buses can drive to the Viehtaleralm.
