By car:
Via B145 (from Vienna/Linz) or B158 (from Salzburg/Munich) coming to Bad Ischl. Follow the direction sign through the town Bad Ischl until you reach the big parking place of the Katrin Cable Car.

Accessibility / arrival
  • Starting point (foot marches): Starting point is the parking place (chargeable) directly at the Katrin Cable Card. You will partly cross the old ski slope. Please take care of the red-white-red signs.
    Ascent takes approx. 2 hours 30 min; height of 940 metres.
  • Valley station (ride up using cable car): Enjoy a charming 15-minute drive to more than 1,400 metres above sea level with the Katrin Cable Car.
  • Duration of ascent (Foot march): 2.30h
