The Kostbar Syriana is a small, fine meeting point where simple Syrian specialties are served: hummus, falafel, kabab, flatbread and, above all, kibbah - hearty bulgur dumplings, Arabic specialties and burgers.

The former gallery bar, now the Syriana Gallery in Kirchengasse 12, Bad Goisern, offers a nice and cozy ambience for culturally-minded people. Everyone is welcome, whether young or old, Austrians or non-Austrians, tourists or locals. Shadi Alosta lures with culunary specialties from his native Syria such as Humus, Falaffel or Souzouk. Ursula Steinbauer provides versatile, cultural variety with occasional concerts, readings or other cultural highlights. If you want to broaden your culinary horizons at the weekend and enjoy Syrian snacks, which you can also take away, and then meet for a drink with colleagues, friends or relatives, you can highly recommend the Gallery Syriana.
