KULINARIUM WIRT - Welcome to the 1er Beisl at Lexenhof in Nußdorf am Attersee!
We come on a sunny spring day, preferring the airy terrace to the cozy parlor. Friendly and attentive the young man in the service, promising the place setting with delicious Liptauer, smoky Verhackert and a slice of bacon from Duroc. Impeccable the beef soup with herb frittata. The Innviertler Grammelknödel small and with flour dough, as it should be, the baked sauerkraut on the salad a nice, if dispensable course. Butter-soft the quail breasts, the fennel softly stewed, a joy the celery cream, likewise the aromatic gravy. A feast for the eyes as well as the palate, the pink roasted veal escalope with mashed potatoes and delicate green wild garlic foam.
This shows the skill of the patron Hans Lugstein, who learned his trade from the legendary Karl Eschlböck and cooks with obviously undiminished passion.
The vanilla crème brûlée with raspberries and chocolate ice cream and the white chocolate mousse with tonka bean and rum-soaked plums are also worth sinning for. All in all a harmonious affair, worth mentioning also the good selection of exclusive wines.
