The Stiegl-Klosterhof, first mentioned in a document in 1595, is a house with history and tradition. The Stiegl brewery has been the tenant of the restaurant in the heart of Linz since the 1930s and since spring 2020 we, the Gassner family, have been able to welcome you to the Stiegl-Klosterhof. Whether in the Braustube, the Stieglitz or the Wappenzimmer - the Klosterhof team offers its guests a cosy atmosphere, personal service and culinary delights. The menu includes popular regional tavern classics and other traditional dishes from Austrian cuisine. Of course, a cool, freshly tapped Stiegl beer tastes best with this. So you can end the day in Linz's green city centre oasis - our cosy guest garden - and experience the beer variety of the Stiegl brewery.
