Karl Rudolf Von Slatin was an Austrian officer. In 1897 he bought the "Spitzvilla". There he invited famous persons for example the Emperor Franz Josef I. Since 1976 the "Spitzvilla" has been owned by the state of Upper Austria and it is used as a location fir events, weddings and exhibitions. Nowadays a cafe is situated in the Spitzvilla.
