By train:
The Baumgarten / Waldbach stop of the Traunsee Tram (line 161) from Gmunden to Vorchdorf is only a 5-minute walk away. Good connection to the Salzkammergut railway line 170 in Gmunden.

By bicycle:
Coming from Gmunden, to Engelbauer, on Laudachseestraße to the next intersection, then left into Müllerbachstraße, over the railway tracks and immediately right into Waldbachstraße, then left Waldbach up the little mountain, you can see the Landgasthaus Baumgarten already standing there.

By car:
Located on the state road between Gschwandt and Gmunden, only 500 meters from the B120.
3km east of Gmunden in the direction of Grünau im Almtal.
Motorway exits on the A1: from the north - Vorchdorf, then via Gschwandt, from the west - Regau, then via Gmunden and the B 120 to Gschwandt.
