Mountain Pasture Rossalm
4824 Gosau
Description: The Rossalm is closed from mid-September to the end of May.
The mountain pasture Rossalm is the ideal reststation at 1387 meters height!
Welcome to 1387m
Guests at the Rossalm are spoilt with homemade delicacies from our own farm. A speciality is the cheese bread with cream cheese and a glass of Schnapps. As refreshment for the passing mountain bikers, there is a carbohydrate-rich pasta dish.
The Rossalm is located on the well-known Dachstein Round, the Plassen Round and the "Durchgangalm" Round. This makes the hut one of the best-known and most popular rest stops in the entire Salzkammergut.
But it is not only the location that distinguishes the Rossalm, because Elisabeth and Alois Hubner look after their guests and the alpine hut with much love and passion. There are many little things to discover around the alpine hut and they shared Schnapps after a tasty snack is not to be missed here either.
The Rossalm is also known for the small "alpine zoo" on the alp. In addition to cattle, sheep and donkeys, a horse and a pony also live on the alp.
We are only open in summer and look forward to welcoming you!
