The Raschberghütte is a cosy meeting place for young and old. Here you can see the rustic hut with dark wood, green shutters and flower boxes with red and purple flowers. There is a large pile of firewood in front of the hut and a small solar panel hangs on the wall.\n

Here you can see the rustic Raschberghütte, which is enthroned on a rocky hill. Next to it, a red Friends of Nature flag flies in the wind. The surrounding area is overgrown with conifers, the sky is blue with light clouds.

Partly managed self-catering hut

The Raschberghut which is leaded by Naturfreunde Bad Goisern is opened and managed on weekends and public holidays from mid-May to approx. mid October and is a popular destination for hikers and mountainbikers.

Nina Sams spoils you with typical delicacies from the area, such as the popular "Schneeballen".

You reach the hut from the parking lot "Flohwiese" near the inn "Halleralm" in Bad Goisern in about 1,5 hour per feet. 

by car
from Salzburg:
Exit Thalgau via federal road B158 towards Bad Ischl, in Bad Ischl drive onto Salzkammergut Street B145 towards Bad Goisern - exit St. Agatha towards Halleralm - Flohwiesen car park.

from Linz:
Exit Regau via federal road Salzkammergut street B145 towards Gmunden and Bad Ischl to Bad Goisern -  exit St. Agatha towards Halleralm - Flohwiesen car park.

from Vienna/Graz:
Exit Liezen via federal road B320, in Trautenfels drive onto Salzkammergut street B145 towards Bad Goisern -  exit St. Agatha towards Halleralm - Flohwiesen car park.

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit "Eben im Pongau", via B166 Pass Gschütt federal road through Gosau, at the Gosaumühle junction turn towards Bad Goisern - village Au - turn right to Erlenstraße till St. Agatha - cross B 145 -  exit St. Agatha towards Halleralm - Flohwiesen car park.

  • Starting point (foot marches): via St. Agatha - Flohwiese car park - forest road towards Hütteneckalm or via the village of Bad Goisern - Lasern, Riedln, Pichlern

  • Arrival by car: From the Pichlern parking lot, access by car is permitted only with a paid permit from the Federal Forest Service (up to 5 minutes before reaching the hut)
