Bäckerei & Café Bräuer
As a Mühlviertel natural bakery and member of the Upper Austrian Troad Bäcker, we only use the best local grains and the highest quality ingredients in our business - many of which are also organically grown.
Our breads, pastries and biscuits have always been lovingly prepared by hand in the traditional way. However, we are also constantly developing new, seasonal products for our customers (e.g. Kletzenbrot, Frühlingskipferl ...) and are always setting new innovative trends. We do not use industrial premixes, but always mix our natural sourdough freshly ourselves. Since the company was founded in 1923, our family's life has been centred around baking - and then as now, only pure nature goes into the (biscuit) bag at Bäckerei Bräuer.
Enjoy our stone oven bread - only real with the "B" in the crust, our organic spelt bread with the power of the organic farmer, our juicy spelt Hans, our spelt gardener, our "Kraftlackl" - the rye bread or our new biscuits with a purpose, organic spelt biscuits in 4 beastly good varieties (Clever Fox, Good Mood, Beautiful Hours, Strong Bear).
The delicious stone-baked bread is processed into a "witty" stone-baked schnapps, which was submitted to the "Goldenes Stamperl" direct marketing competition in Wieselburg and was chosen as the national winner out of 1179 schnapps from Germany, Italy and Switzerland, even though it had only been aged for 3 months.
