Lengau store

At the Lengau Store, products from local direct sellers are sold by employees of the Lebenshilfe workshop in Mattighofen. This is a collaborative project between Lebenshilfe Upper Austria and the market town of Lengau. Ten employees and two staff members work at the Lengau Store.

The farm store, with approximately 120 square meters of retail space, primarily offers products from suppliers in Lengau and the surrounding area. The Lengau store’s diverse product range includes regional and seasonal items from over 80 local suppliers, ranging from bread, dairy products, fruits, vegetables, meat, juices, vinegar, beer, and schnapps to organic muesli and chocolates. Products from the Lebenshilfe workshop in Mattighofen are also available for purchase.

The Lengau Shop opened in October 2018 as a joint project of Lebenshilfe Upper Austria and the municipality of Lengau, with support from the federal government, the state, and the European Union (LEADER), and has also helped revitalize the town center. With the farm shop, the residents of Lengau once again gained a local supplier as well as a gathering place thanks to a café corner with 8 seats. A variety of teas, coffees, juices, and fresh pastries are offered daily.
