Vierthalerhaus der Pro Juventute

The "Vierthalerhaus": The so-called "Vierthalerhaus" of Pro Juventute is located close to the night watchman's house. The house was built in 1958 to provide a home for foster families. Since July 2004, it has been home to a residential group for children and young people. It was named after the important pedagogue and orphanage father Franz Michael Vierthaler. He was born in Mauerkirchen in 1758 and was a grandson of the plasterer Johann Michael Vierthaler.
