Pfarrkirche Wendling
Wendling, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The Wendling parish church is dedicated to St Ulrich. A church building first appears in the chronicles around 1200 to 1220. The original Gothic church was rebuilt and enlarged in 1508. The church tower also burned down in the local fire on 1 October 1884 (total damage 76,021 guilders). A new tower was erected in 1901. The spire rises 48 metres high and was the model for the church tower in Schwanenstadt.
The interior and exterior of the parish church is currently being extensively renovated. The work will still take some time.
