Gipfelkreuz Ödberg
Gaspoltshofen, Oberösterreich, Österreich

The Ödberg is one of the most beautiful vantage points in the region, from where you can see as far as Wels, the Mühlviertel and the mountain ranges of the Salzkammergut. On the initiative of Alfred Franke and Ernst Pabst, hiking trails, benches and a summit cross were created on the Ödberg in Altenhof.
The forest owners (Messner family, Graf in der Simmering, Gmde. Ottnang) made the site available and the cross, table and benches were built by Stefan Seyfried. There are several benches along the hiking routes. A large, solid table with four benches invites hikers to enjoy the marvellous panoramic view. The site is a popular excursion destination - around 1500 visitors have already "hiked" the Ödberg.
