The model flying experience in Sonnberg
The varied, exciting and instructive hobby of model flying has been practised in Sonnberg since 1970. Our members are present at the model aerodrome at any time of the year and anyone interested can try their hand at flying a model aeroplane (by appointment, telephone or email).We welcome everyone, young and old, who wants to join us in model flying and enjoy a hobby in nature with technical and manual requirements!
The model aerodrome near Rainbach i. M. awaits you with a grass runway measuring approx. 120 x 40 metres.

Accessibility / arrivalBy car: from Linz via the A7 Mühlkreis motorway to Unterweitersdorf. Then take the Mühlviertler Bundesstraße to Freistadt and Rainbach. Along the Labach municipal road until shortly before Sonnberg
Train: Train connection from Linz to Summerau (distance Summerau - Rainbach approx. 3 km)
