The way of cross on the Kalvarienberg
The Stations of the Cross was built in the years 1862 till 1869 and the church was built in the years 1864 till 1869. The portals and the cross altar with the statue of Moses and Aaron were vested from the St.Andrä-Kirche in Salzburg.
The 4 Doctors of the Church (Gregor der Große, Hieronymus mit Kardinalshut, Augustinus mit Herz und Ambrosius mit Bienenkorb) were made in Salzburg in 1902. The figure of the Hl George was stolen in the year 1978 and recarved in 1984. The two pictures present the saint florian and the saint Leonhard. The way of cross was restored 1982.

Take the motorway exit (A1) St. Georgen im Attergau and drive towards the center. Opposite the flower trade Gasselsberger is the Way of the Cross on the Calvary.
