Lord's Chapel in the valley
Braunau am Inn, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The "Lord's chapel in the valley" is located outside the town on the left hand side of valley street (Talstraße) opposite the old Lanner mill. Earlier a known mineral spring originated there. Legend has it that a floating statue of Christ was washed up during a flooding and got stuck next to the spring. After this miracle, a miller initiated the chapel's construction. During the 17th and 18th century the chapel was visited by many pilgrims.
