In the summer of 1945, there was a historic meeting in Weyregg.

Dr. Heinrich Gleissner, who after the war, Governor of Upper Austria, stayed with his family in Weyregg. The later Chancellor Dr. Leopold Figl met here with Dr. Gleissner, and after an intense conversation it was clear that the occupying powers must be clearly indicated: "Austria must not be divided". The steel sculpture "undivided Austria" by Thomas Bracher before the municipal office, recalls the encounter.
